I'm Vijay Koju, a PhD student in the Computational Science Program at Middle Tennessee State University. My research is in computational photonics. I design and model new one/two dimensional photonic crystals that support Bloch surface waves for applications in the field of bio-sensing, waveguide design, slow-light devices, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, and other surface non-linear optical phenomena.

Besides my research, I am interested in data science and machine learning.

Have a look at some of my ongoing projects and initiatives.
